Visit from the Stork supports families in Greater Manchester by giving them the tools and resources they need to give their children the best quality of life. Put simply; we are a safe space for parents to come to when they need help with anything. We provide practical support of ‘baby essentials’ plus sourcing toys, furniture and clothes, as well as information and advice in the postnatal period such as breastfeeding and emotional support through our peer support groups. We work with families in all sorts of situations; from families struggling on universal credit, parents living in temporary housing, those fleeing domestic violence and refugee and asylum seekers with no access to benefits.

No day is the same in our organisation – we are busy every day running groups, organising events and providing our core service of baby essentials and peer support as well as growing our shop and trading income.
