Donate Toys, Clothes & Baby Essentials in Manchester and Salford

LET'S HELP

We help families help others by donating great quality pre-loved items they no longer need. We also accept donations of brand new items as well, especially leading up to Christmas and Eid.

Questions about donating items to Visit from the Stork? You will find lots of information below. As a small charity we are not resourced to offer a collection service. There is, however, parking available at our hub and someone from our team will be happy to help with the unloading and carrying of items from your car. Please book a slot for donating items so we know when to expect you.

Donation guidelines

  • Ideally all baby essentials (nappies, wipes, toiletries) should be brand new.
  • Any opened packs of nappies should be sealed with sellotape or in a bag and shouldn’t be any more than ¼ empty.
  • We cannot accept donations of formula milk at this time as we are working on a new policy regarding this. We tailor make our packages and this includes giving the right stage milk to families. We use our monetary donations and funding to pay for formula milk.

Please wash all the clothes you wish to donate so they can go straight out in our packs when requested or into our shop. We don’t currently have washing facilities. We are unable to accept stained or dirty clothes.

We will open for clothes donations once a month or if we make a specific callout. We rotate our clothes available in the shop regularly and any excess to our storage gets re-donated to a clothing bank. Please only donate the sizes requested in our wishlist unless specified otherwise on our social media channels.

We DO NOT currently accept adult clothes. This may change in the future. Please contact one of the many food banks or other charities in Salford or Manchester who may be able to take them such as;
