We help families fleeing domestic abuse to have a

Brighter Tomorrow

Almost 1 in 3 women aged between 16 and 59 in the UK will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime.

In 2025, 10.4% of our clients were referred to us because they were fleeing or experiencing Domestic Abuse or Domestic Violence. That number is expected to increase in 2026.

These families need our support

Why?

– Children may be unable to settle at school if they are witnessing or experiencing domestic abuse

Home instability and financial hardship causes stress and anxiety for both parent and child when fleeing domestic violence and/or domestic abuse

– Domestic abuse often leads to health issues such as anxiety, depression, exhaustion, as well as any physical injuries. Plus long term effects such as post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, and chronic fatigue – for both parent and child

– If a parent chooses to leave their abusive partner, they may experience financial difficulties or live in temporary housing which is often missing the equipment to be able to cook healthy meals

How do we support?

Our groups remove mums from the isolation abusers often force them into

– Our groups help build confidence in meeting new people and accessing support

Access to baby essentials alleviates financial pressures

– Access to baby essentials, toys and clothes enables a parent to care for their child when they don’t have access to funds
